The project involves landscape reclamation and design on either side of Aliakmon river, in the region / district of Ilarionas dam. On the west side of the river, the proposal consists of four "open space" unities, corresponding to different activity areas. The design approach enhances the Holy Monastery of Ilarionas, which constitutes an important landmark of the region, in terms of history and religion. On the east side of the river, the proposal is based on the design of a "main footpath", which adapts to the natural terrain and connects focal points of the scenery.
