The current project refers to the structural adequacy and strengthening proposal of an existing steel structure. The structure already carries heavy machinery loads upon thin-walled beams on the top of the structure, while three new air-cooler machines are implemented. From the structural assessment emerges the enhancement of the steel structure via extensive improvements, such as steel laminates and diaphragms in the transversal dimension.
