The projects regards the structural adequacy of FCC/D steel structure for the implementation of the E-3314 alternator at the Motor Oil Hellas refineries, in Korinthos. The structural system is formulated via three parallel frames on the east-west direction equally spaced at 5 m. Each frame consists of three vertical levels and two spans. On the transversal direction vertical V-bracings are implemented. The strengthening proposal also include member replacements and use of steel laminates.
